Practice has proved that the fire-fighting forest belt at Wujiaofeng has a good effect, and it has popularization value in the construction of biological fire-fighting forest belts in the Taihang Mountain area of ​​northern Henan. 1 Characteristics of Pentagonal Maple 1. Pentatoma tempreatus is a temperate tree species that has strong adaptability, is more pleasing to the light, grows faster, is drought-resistant, cold-tolerant, and resistant to barrenness, and can grow in both acidic and calcareous soils. However, it grows best on deep, fertile, loose, moist mountainous brown soils. 1.2 fire performance Pentagon Maple is a better fire tree species in northern Taihang Mountains. The ash content was 4.93%, the lignin content was 27.2%, and the calorific value was 19213 J/g.
