Vegetables should be classified fertilizer

Top-dressing vegetables can increase the effective utilization of fertilizers, give fuller play to fertilizer efficiency, reduce planting costs, and improve the quality and yield of vegetables. Leaf vegetables such as cabbage, spinach, celery, etc., are mainly eaten young leaves, the entire growth period is vegetative growth, so top dressing is based on fast-acting nitrogen fertilizer. During the prosperous period, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers are added appropriately. If Chinese cabbage is in the lotus sitting period and the filling period, if there is a shortage of phosphate fertilizer and potash fertilizer, it is difficult to make the ball. Vegetables such as cucumbers, squashes, wax gourds, eggplants, by-product peppers, tomatoes, and cowpeas, etc., their edible parts are reproductive organs, generally require more nitrogen in the seedling stage; entering the flowering period will increase the demand for phosphorus, and The demand for nitrogen is relatively reduced, so nitrogen fertilizer should be applied at the seedling stage, and phosphorus and nitrogen should be added during the fruiting period. Taking cucumber as an example: In the new fruit period, attention should be paid to the application of phosphate fertilizer. After each batch of fruit, the fertilizer must be applied once and fertilizer is dissolved in water to promote the high quality and high yield of cucumber. Root vegetables and stem vegetables mainly include white radish, carrots, onions, garlic and potatoes. Their edible parts are stored organs, which are fleshy roots or fleshy stems. For such vegetables, nitrogen supply should be the main factor in their growth period. In order to promote the rapid generation of fleshy stems, and then apply potassium fertilizers later in the growth period, the application amount of nitrogen fertilizers should be appropriately controlled.
