The reason why the injector stuck and repaired

Comrades who have used diesel engines generally know that the fuel injectors are one of the three pairs of precision couplings for diesel fuel supply systems. Its normal service life is more than 1000 hours. However, due to improper use, it often takes hundreds of hours, or even tens of hours, to wear out and die.

First, the main reason for injector stuck

1 The diesel oil is not clean, and there are impurities in the high-pressure fuel pipe, which accelerates the wear of the injector needle valve and even closes the needle valve and shuts down the high-pressure gas in the combustion chamber and burns the needle valve. In addition, the dirt on the parts of the fuel injector pressure regulating spring, tappet, etc. moves to the upper part of the needle valve of the injector through the injector tappet, so that the needle valve and the valve will be stuck.

2 Engine temperature is too high The fuel injector is poorly cooled, causing the ground valve to be stuck. The oil supply time is too late, the scale of the cooling water channel is too much or blocked, the end face of the pump impeller is worn, and the long-term overload of the engine causes the engine to overheat.

3 When the oil valve wears out, the oil dripping phenomenon occurs when the injector stops spraying, so that the fuel nozzle burns char, and a stuck failure occurs.

4 The fuel injection pressure is too low, causing high pressure gas in the combustion chamber.

5 When the injector is installed, the missing gasket or gasket is damaged, causing air leakage, causing the local temperature of the injector to be too high and stuck.

6 The reasons for parts manufacturing, such as cylinder head on the fuel injector mounting hole and injector too tight, needle valve body and cylinder head mounting hole clearance is too small.

Second, the nozzle stuck repair method

Put the stuck nozzle first into diesel or engine oil to warm it, then take it out and wrap it with cloth, and then clamp the needle valve with hand-clamp and move it slowly to remove the needle valve from the needle valve body. A small amount of clean oil is dripped in the needle valve body, so that the needle valve moves repeatedly in the needle valve body until the needle valve can move freely in the needle valve body. Install the clean needle valve assembly on the injector and adjust the injection pressure to reuse it.
