First, physical control
1. Remove the fruit that was being foraged in time to avoid the risk of larvae transferring fruits.
2. Plant corn traps. While transplanting peppers, according to local conditions, select early-maturing or medium-mature corn varieties, field-demanding, fixing a person's hand every morning to beat corn stems and moths or spraying pesticides in time to reduce the source of insects.
3. It is an effective method to use adult worms to have a tendency to attract volatiles from poplar leaves and to hide them in the branches of poplars during the day. When adult eclosion and oviposition occur, placing poplar branches in the cotton field to attract moths is an effective method. Put 6 to 8 per acre and catch moth before sunrise.
Second, chemical control
Yang Twig induced the first adult to show that it has entered the initial stage of the moth. When the amount of adults began to increase suddenly, it indicated that it was entering the peak of the moth. Pushing back for 3 to 5 days is the peak of spawning in the field. After 3 to 4 days, the larvae hatched. That is, 6 to 9 days after the induction of the first adult is the best time to eliminate it with an agent.
Use high-efficiency, low-toxicity, low-residue pollution-free pesticides to prevent and treat: spraying with pyrethroid pesticides such as fentanyl, rifazone, kungfu 5000-6000 times, or using microbial pesticides such as “HD-1†1000 times Contains 100 million spores of Bacillus sp. The choice of spraying in the morning or evening can increase the control effect.
