With the continuous advancement of agricultural technology in China, herbicides have become increasingly common in farming practices. However, their excessive use has led to growing concerns about phytotoxicity and residual damage to crops. These issues include hidden toxicity, long-term residue accumulation, and harmful effects on plant growth.
To address this challenge, researchers from Henan Far East Pesticide Co., Ltd., led by Mr. Dang Yongfu, collaborated with experts both domestically and internationally. After five years of dedicated research, they successfully developed a groundbreaking substance called "Nian," which effectively mitigates the negative impacts of herbicides on crops and soil.
Since its introduction, Nian has been widely demonstrated across several provinces, including Henan, Shandong, Jiangsu, and Heilongjiang. Over the past two years, it has been applied to nearly 20 million mu of farmland, proving highly effective in controlling weeds without harming crop yields or causing injury.
As the only broad-spectrum herbicide safener in China, Nian can be used alongside various herbicides across different crops. It efficiently eliminates herbicide residues in both plants and soil while maintaining the herbicidal effect. Unlike foliar fertilizers or growth regulators, Nian actively absorbs and breaks down herbicide residues, significantly reducing the risk of crop damage.
Nian has been granted national invention patents and holds high-tech product certifications, marking a major breakthrough in domestic and international agriculture. Its technological innovation is recognized as world-class.
Nian offers three key benefits:
1. **Prevention of Herbicide Injury**: When used with herbicides, Nian helps prevent and reduce potential damage to crops.
2. **Remediation of Herbicide Damage**: If crops are affected by herbicides, applying Nian accelerates the breakdown of residues, helping crops recover quickly.
3. **Soil Residue Decomposition**: Long-term use of Nian breaks down herbicide residues in the soil, shortening the safety period for sensitive crops and improving crop rotation flexibility.
Nian is easy to apply and can be used alone or mixed with other agrochemicals such as herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and foliar nutrients. Application methods include spraying or root irrigation: 1–2 bags of Nian per acre, diluted in 15–30 kg of water. For seed treatment, mix 40 grams of Nian in 100–200 times water and soak seeds for 6–12 hours or seedlings for 5–10 minutes.
The preparation process involves first dissolving the entire bag of Nian in a small container with water, stirring for 3–5 minutes, then mixing it into a larger volume of water for application.
Nian has shown remarkable results across multiple crops. In soybeans, it promotes strong growth, develops robust roots, increases rhizobia, reduces disease incidence, and boosts yield by over 20–30%. In corn, it prevents yellowing, improves uniformity, strengthens stalks, and enhances yield. For cotton, it reduces black seedlings, root rot, and improves boll production and overall yield.
If crops are damaged by herbicides, applying Nian within 3–5 days can help them recover quickly and resume normal growth.
