Sick piglets lose their appetite, increase their appetite, and lose weight quickly. It usually recovers after 30 to 40 days, but it affects development. Severe cases can die within 4 to 6 days. Breeding pigs or sows can also occur, but the lesions are mild and have no systemic symptoms.

Prevention:

In the early stage of the disease, it can be treated with isoxazole and penicillin antibiotics. The infected part can be washed with chloroform.
