1. Symptoms:

The lesions are round or oval, brown to reddish-brown, small lesions sometimes become large spots, and the leaf tissue near the lesions is often pink. In the later stage of the disease, the epidermis of the lesion ruptured and brown powder was scattered. The veins and vascular bundles remained as filaments.

2. The law of onset:

The pathogenic bacteria live in the soil or in the diseased body with dormant sporangia. The second year, the pathogens are transmitted to the corn plants by airflow, and they can germinate under suitable environmental conditions to generate swimming spores. Zoospore must swim in the presence of water on leaf or leaf sheath. When the temperature is appropriate, it can invade human skin. In July and August, high temperatures and high humidity are conducive to the disease; the density is too high, the fields are covered and the incidence is heavy.

3. Control measures:

1. After the harvest of agricultural measures, the diseased tissues were completely removed, and the soil was deep-rooted. The water in the fields was removed and the humidity was reduced. Apply enough base fertilizer, timely fertilizer, timely cultivator weeding, promote healthy growth of plants to increase resistance to disease. Severely affected fields have implemented rotations for more than three years.

2. Chemical control with Benzolide and Oxyspirillic rust control effect is good, 100 grams per acre with water 50 kg foliar spray.
