So here I am, supposed to be crafting another Frozen Moment post, or maybe tackling the stack of other drafts waiting patiently for attention—like the Mama Style piece for Valentine’s Day to match our Mini Style post. But life had other plans this weekend. Just as I was about to board a flight solo with my sweetest little one, I realized I'd picked up a bug from my middle child. It hit hard, and trust me, it's been ages since I’ve felt like this. All the germs floating around had me scrubbing every surface in sight again—because apparently, I'm still learning that some things just can't be sterilized completely.
Skylar slept soundly on me during the flight, and I tried to follow suit. Once we landed, there was just enough time to freshen up before slipping into heels and plastering on a smile for work here in Philly. But even then, my little guy kept waking me up, so I got what I could.

Instead of taking regular family portraits, I find myself reminiscing about quieter moments with my boys. Like that day when Brayden stayed home sick from school, and I had a plane to catch later that evening. He was miserable, but his love shone through—he handed me his tissues, asked if I was okay, and even offered hugs. And yes, I ended up catching his cold too.
The next morning, I snuck off to my hotel room hoping to avoid passing it to my baby girl back home. But she wouldn’t let me stay far for long. She insisted on making me feel better, which only made me miss her more. Now that everyone’s finally on the mend, I've promised myself I'll catch up on everything soon. Until then, I’ll daydream about all three of them—their laughter, their warmth, their tiny hands tugging at mine—and look forward to the moment when we’re all healthy and together again.

For now, though, I’ll keep these memories close, especially the ones where we're not running a fever. And someday soon, I’ll sit down and write those other posts I’ve been meaning to finish. Maybe next week? Or maybe the one after. Life has a way of throwing curveballs, doesn’t it?
Until then, take care of yourselves and each other. Love always,

P.S. These photos came straight from Instagram—beautifully blurry and grainy, just like life sometimes.
